Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) Barugon’s Cave (^_^)

When you insert the empty dvd/cd, and you get the message that you need to insert one, what action are you performing?

You aren't actually trying to view content using the explorer, right? Cus that would trigger this message. The cd/dvd is blank, thus there's no data on it, and the player therefor tells you to insert one that actually has data.

Also, just to be sure, see if you get the same error if you insert another blank dvd/cd. It can happen that something actually has written some info to the cd/dvd and that makes the disk unusable.
