Hi, I use WIndows movie maker to make clips that I later put on youtube. Only problem (that you all obviously know) is that WMM is terrible at best. It locks up and drops out for no reasons and seems very buggy (at least it is for me).

I would like any ideas of a good video editing program that is semi-simple to use and has a wide range of features (paticually zooming on pictures)

I use a programme called VideoReDo to edit the digital tv shows I record on the computer. These are on .ts (transport stream) format, and VRD saves them as mpeg2 format after editing. This is not a free app and they have two prices depending on which version you get.

I then convert them to xvid (avi) or x264 (mkv) with AutoGH and Handbrake, both are free apps...
