hi guys,

my webcam is not working with my msn messenger anymore. it did for like a month after i bought it.. after that it stopped working!
it still worked with skype.. until today! i had to upgrade skype.. so i uninstalled skype and tried installing the newer version..but i keep gettin error messages saying "fatal installation error 1603".. so now basically.. i hav a fully functioning webcam.. but just can't really use it anymore!

any help will be much appreciated!!

advent 5411 laptop
in-built webcam

dunno if it matters but currently using university internet that restricts some internet activities.. and does not let me access everythin that a normal network would.
