Default Laptop Wireless Driver?

Hello all!
I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop that's a couple years old now. Through an annoying set of circumstances, I had to wipe the hard drive and re-install XP. I downloaded and installed all the drivers from Dell starting with the chipset, but I can't for the life of me get the wireless to work. Everything else does: Sound, Video, Everything, all but my wireless. Under device manager, there are a few devices with the little yellow ! mark next to them. Any ideas? I'd love anyone's help.

Was one of the drivers that you downloaded and installed from Dell's website for the wireless adapter?

It's really annoying, but reinstalling operating systems on laptops is a PitA unless you're prepared for it (drivers-wise) beforehand.

Make sure you've downloaded the wireless (US) driver from that website (under the "Network" heading), then give us a status update.

That link did help a bit, georgeks, I got a couple more drivers out of that. But I've already tried the US driver from the Dell site, it says it installs fine and that the card is active, but nothing happens or changes. I've tried toggling the wireless "switch" (I just press the Function Key plus F2, with the little wireless icon on it), but nothing happens with that either.
