It's not a buffering issue, not at all. My hdd's have an average read time of 90MB/s. Like I said in the post above it is some sort of conflict with my wireless network which it's being used. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does happen I just stop all downloads and it stops.

This could be due to QoS or Quality of Service settings. I have QoS setup in my router for my VoiP phone service, so I get no strange effects when on the phone and downloading at the same time.
Here's article on how to adjust this in Vista (should work in Win 7) here, it may work for you Bikkit... QoS Bandwidth Reserve Limit

I disabled it all together. Now lets monitor the results.
That's for that, Arctos. I think I was once advised to disable QoS package scheduler years ago. Apparently there is no need for it on a network like mine.

it still stutters from time to time. Less that usual but it still happens.
