Hi Bikkit - try this fix.
Try the fix in the link below. It will reset all your controllers to UltraDMA mode which will hopefully fix the problem.

Graphics card drivers are up to date. They always are. I don't know how long it's been doing it. Probably ever since Windows 7 beta. But, before you bash Win7, I'm the only one with this problem. It can't be a Win7 fault.

dang. After much googling and testing I have discovered between my media player and my wireless network.
I found this site. I then started watching house while downloading lots of things, I got stutters. I then stopped the downloads and sure enough the stutters stopped. As far as I know there is no definite fix for this. I'll just have to wait for driver updates, a new router or when I move out of the house and set up a wired network around the flat I may rent in the future. If anyone DOES know of a fix for this, please speak up.

Bikkit,
How are thing going for you so far? Does it still seem to be a buffering issue? I'll look around to see what I can find to increase buffering....
