Ok...here we go...I've build my new pc (of course with the help of all you fine folks at PChf)...I turned it on...the fans came on, the bios came up, so far so good. Now I'm ready to install my Vista home premium 64 bit upgrade. Yes, I did a little research on the web on how to do this so I feel comfortable. Just one problem. This first thing all the instructions call for is to log in as Administrator. No problem. What's the password? I mean the from the factory/default password. After a little research on the MS website I think the default password for Administrator is Null. Correct? I'm not going to do anything until I hear something...thanks again.

Isn't the default vista administrator password created by you when you installed Vista??

Was in my many several times of Vista installation!!

hi bubba ,

i use vista , and as far as i can work out there is no default password on the system ,

even after countless formats i have never needed to use a password for the admin account

so you will not need to enter a password to access it ,
