Pending: Computer won't defrag

Hi,

My computer won't defrag, when I click analyze it comes up with a message saying:

Disk defragmenter could not start.

Any ideas?

I have always used a third party defrag utility as MIcrosofy's defrag is very basic.

I have been using Smart Defrag for a while and it is very good. It's free as well...
