What is called SID ?
Recently i downloaded a software.......along with that ..there was a SID GENERATOR ....In a tutorial video i saw...to use that.I did..and it said something like..the current sid will change to the new one...It showed..I noted the old SID...
After that when i signed in my msn messenger,It said service temporarily unavailable.I restarted my pc and i could able to sign in msn..
Antivirus didnt showed any virus when i used it.
Where the Sid is located in pc ?
Is this new Sid caused that ?
Will the new Sid damage my pc ?

What is the program and why would it make you change the SID?
The SID is the security identifier for the PC and to be honest, you shouldn't need to mess with it.

Already i posted a thread for cursor effects...
That software was cursor fx plus....that i downloaded...Along with that there was a SID GENERATOR.. Anyway,i changed the new SID to my old SID again using that same SID generator.......... I uninstalled that software also........Now no more problems......... Its better to find an other software which has effects for cursor....... Thanks for your reply..........  |
