can anyone suggest a really good registry cleaner for vista that wont screw up my computer

and also i uninstall two programs a while back and their files or something are still showing on my right click > files

the things i want to remove from that list is
particleillusion 3 project file
Rez
muvee document

i dont have those programs anymore please help!

I use CCleaner's registry component and have had no issues with it. However, I must caution you, when using any registry cleaner, or doing anything involving the registry, you should always back up before doing anything.

thankx crush but can you tell me what to check off and what not to check off for the boxes for the whole program so i can know that i am at least cleaning it better

i agree with the guys,i use ccleaner & have not had a problem on xp or vista,it is brilliant .....
