Hi all! Guess it's a weird question, but anyway. Has anyone had problems with Skype and Yahoo lately? It got really bad for me when I speak with my bf in Australia, but is ok when I talk with people from the US. He checked his pc for viruses and spyware - nothing and computer running fine. But the calls always drop out. Could it be that he's using mobile broadband? Or can it be because his laptop is overheating, because sometimes his fan gets really loud? Thanks!

Hi! Thanks, sure I can change that. It's just that I'm from the UK, but am in Russia for work only and the IM problem happened in the UK too.

Its ok,why we ask so we can rule in or out a connection issue or faults in the country you are living in.
It just helps staff to determin issues much quicker. Thankyou.

Wireless broadband isn't that reliable and it does drop out frequently. Couple of questions.
What company is his wireless broadband through? What wireless broadband modem does he have? What connection speed/plan is he on? |

He's with Telstra on a company plan. Can't say the exact speed, but it's pretty fast. Modem - it's a PCMCIA Card.
