Hi there,
I want to make columns in my text in InDesign. Simple question, simple solution you think, but the three solutions I already have are not the answers to my problem:
I would like to be able to tell the text in 'Paragraph Styles' that it should be in three columns, because if I would adjust the settings in the text frame, all paragraph styles in the frame would be in three columns, and that's not what I want. Also, I can't make 3 different text frames and link them, since then I would have the same problem.
What I don't want to do either (I know, I'm being difficult) is make seperate text frames for the text that should be several columns and text that should be spread over more columns.
So that's why I would like to tell a specific Paragraph style to divide itself into three columns. How do I do that?
Kind regards, and thanks for your answer,
Job Jansweijer

Hey Guys,@ Job, sorry this has taken so long for us to get back to. Unfortunately, given the constraints, I think that you are asking the program to do something that Adobe did not anticipate. As far as I can tell, the paragraph setting will not automatically create the columns seperately from the text box. I am curious as to where you have looked already for help, it may assist us in finding perhaps another way to find your answer, or at least another option for how to look for it. Also, if you have found the answer on your own in the mean time, would you be so kind as to give us an update to help other users who may have the same or similar questions? Looking forward to your reply, TTFN LGW
