I'm new to the use of REVO Uninstaller and recently tried it out. Seemed to work but I have a question about removing the left over items after the normal product uninstaller is done.
That is, REVO presents a bunch of left over items, each item displayed with the name tree that leads to the item. And then the item itself is in BOLD.
To delete that item do you select (click) all the entries in the name tree down to and including the item of interest, or do you just select the BOLD item of interest?

Larry,
Where does the string start and end? Usually if you select partly into the string it will delete the entire contents of a folder. (such as Program Files)

Crush, I think you are saying that if I select somewhere in the string, everything from there on down will be deleted. I'll check that out next time I use RevoUninstaller. I'm a bit fuzzy remembering what things were in the name path but I seem to recall it included things I wouldn't want to delete. I suspect that selecting just the BOLD items would be safe.

That's exactly what I am saying larry. the further down the string you select, the more precise.
If for instance you had something like C:\Documents and Settings\Crush\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\ContentIE5\abcdefg.tmp If you were to select only C:\Documents and Settings\Crush it would delete that entire folder.
