My normal DVD player will play AVI files, so instead of converting to DVD format and burning I just want to burn the AVI file. However, When I try this using nero back-up it only plays in B&W. Any ideas?? Thanks, Marvin

Hello Marvin and welcome to the forums! I have not used Nero back-it-up so, I am going to mark this as Open so the rest of the tech team knows to reply.

No probs
![]() Just put a blank CD into your drive. Go to "My Computer" and double-click on the CD Rom drive icon - this will open your "burning" window. Drag anything you want to be burnt into that window (this will create copies - your originals will stay on the hard drive). When you have all the files you need to burn in that window, go to File > "Write these files to CD" That's it

OK I'll give that a go. I presume this works for DVD as well as CD?
Donation on the way if it works. Cheers Marvin |

No, sadly the DVD creation part of Windows was added with Vista...not XP...do you have XP or Vista?
