Hello there, as you can see i'm new to the forum

Right, I THINK i'm having a problem with WMP. Everytime I try to watch a video or play a song (either from my saved files or from the internet) a message comes up saying it is encountering a problem and gives me the option for "web help".
The program was working perfectly until the other day when I changed my anti-virus protection to AVG. I'm sure this is the core of the problem as when I try and watch videos on websites it doesn't work either!
If anyone can tell me if there is a setting I might need to unlock on AVG or can give me any information at all I would be very greatful

Don't stress too much on this one Simply use the Windows System Restore function (Start > All programs > accessories > System Tools > System Restore) and take the PC back a couple of days, to before you encountered the issues.
