good evening folks !

just picked up a new machine for a friend, spent the l;ast couple of hours loading stuff on for him as he's a a bit new, thought i'd get a step ahead in case of future prob's and do a ghost image. . . . ..

it seems to have had a problem with my mouse ( they forgot to give me one lol) mines a microsoft intelli mouse optical . . . . anyway, ghost stopped after it found this fault and prompted to return to windows, which it won't do ?

i've tried f8 f12 delete etc to get into safe mode and i cant ???

was going to delete ghost iin add/ remove and install the mouse drivers but i cant get into it?

any ideas please

oh . . . . . i'm stuck on the screen that prompts to run norton ghost dos operation or return to windows . . . . .

neither of which are working

forget it lol . . . . . i've just googled some of the problems people have been having with ghost even though i have it on my machine, which is a lot older than this one, with no problems? it's as long as it is broasd from where i'm sat so sod it lol

i've tried to repair with the xp disc and just about everything else . . . . . bite the bullet and i'm now formatting and reinstalling, at least it recognised the partitions i did before with partition magic so all the programs i saved will still be there
