Hi PCHF,

I'm currently looking at my music folder and...to be honest...it's making me nauseous.

I'm a really organized guy but all my mp3 files are completely out of order. Some have the artist in the song name, some contain useless info in the title, etc etc. I'm sure some of you can relate.

After all, who doesn't love that one-hit-wonder: Unknown 02 by Unknown Artist ?

Basically I'm just looking for a simple piece of software that would let me organize all these files - select a group of files and assign an artist/album/album cover to all of them - or change the title, lyrics, etc. I know iTunes can do that, but I never was a big fan of iTunes. It's a little too bulky for my taste - and I don't like being forced to download quicktime.

Audioshell may be of some use to you, I have not used it so I cannot say if it's easy to use or whatever.
