Hi. Don't know if this is the right place to ask about MAGIX editing problems, but anywhoo. About three months ago, I was able to use the PC screen recording option in Magix Movie Edit Pro 14 PLUS. A little box with moving lines would pop up, and I was able to record video off of certain websites. However, three months later, I am now unable to do this. All I get now is an error message that reads "Could not connect to selected device." I know something got undone in the three month time frame, like perhaps somebody goofing with the video card options. How do I get it back to normal?

Did you purchase the software after the 30 days trial period had finished?

All trial versions - MAGIX

No, definately did not. I even went a step further to pay for the PLUS version which they say comes with the screen capture option. So unless I'm getting screwed by fine print, it should work. I just can't connect to this device.

Maybe the trial version of your screen recording software has a limited features until you get the full version...
