I need to undo something dumb I did and have no clue how to do it. I got one of those alerts that said such and such was trying to set something to start everytime my computer was started up and I clicked allow and clicked the little box that lets you let the program repeat the same thing or whatever, I forget what it's called, but now I can't find where in ZoneAlarm to reverse this back so it will ask me again to allow it to run everytime my computer is started. I know where the programs are in ZoneAlarm but there is no option for this that I see...only Internet related things.

I meant to click deny instead of allow this is why I need to reverse it.

What is the name of the program that you allowed/denied from the Zonealarm alert?

And what did you use to set a program to startup with your computer?

Right click the Zone Alarm icon in the bottom right of your screen. Choose Open/somethign similar.

In there there should be various icons showing the different applications that it has allowed to access the internet.

The one giving you this error should be there too. Right click it and choose Allow and you may have to tick a box for 'remember my choice/don't ask me again'. (Or the option could be Allow Always...something like that)

FYI, ZoneAlarm isn't that good. At least it had a bad rep last time I checked. It doesn't work well with online games, can cause problems shutting down your PC etc.

Windows Firewall and/or your router (hardware) firewall will suffice.
