Hello Rock4King and welcome.

Personally I purchased DVD Fab Platinum a couple of years back and it has never let me down and was worth every penny.

They let you use a trial evaluation copy for thirty days if you are interested...

You could try DVDShrink, I have used it before and it has worked well at converting moves to .iso image files so they can be burned. Not all dvds will work with it, and some recent ones may not because the program is quite old, and hasn't been updated.

Glad to hear it worked for you.

I haven't yet encountered a disk that it couldn't back up and when you buy it they give you constant updates for free too which is nice.

I initially purchased DVDFab 3 and am up to DVDFab 5 now.

It also has useful features such as allowing you to divide data between two disks if necessary.
