i have a subs file and an avi file and i can play it fine with the subs on VLC player. However i want to merge the two files into one because i want to watch the film on my ps3 and the subs do not work on this. Does anyone know any programs i can use do be able to do this?

Friends of mine use ConvertXtoDVD video converter to embed the avi file and subtitile file together, then burn it to dvd successfully.
It explains how to do it in the manual... VSO Download DVD Burning Software, convert AVI to DVD, video converter, DVD copy to DVD slideshow photo
