I am in the process of creating a remix. I wish to use a certain portion of audio (and others as well) in matching the piece of music I am trying to remix. Right now, I am trying to match this portion of audio:
audio1 16 - Putfile.com
With this piece of music right here:
audio2 30 - Putfile.com
As you can see, I have worked hard in using a time track (in Audacity which is a free audio editor) on that portion of audio in an attempt to match that piece of music, but ended up with a strange result. I wish to match portions of audio with music entirely--pitch and all. For example, with that heavy metal music, there were some instruments playing and with that one portion of audio there was only one instrument playing it. I wish to do something as to the effect of replacing all of the instruments that are playing that heavy metal music with that one instrument playing that one portion of audio which would result in that one portion of audio playing just like the heavy metal music. Therefore, how can I perfectly match pieces of audio with music this way? Is there some sort of software I can download that can do this?

You are going to have to use a better audio editor than Audacity to separate the the individual instruments out.
Cakewalk have the software that is capable of this but it's not free... Cakewalk
