I've been using Norton products for as long as I can remember, but I'm just fed up. There are too many problems with the programs, and the customer support is absurd. The problem is, every report I've read about comparison testing between Norton and other products always shows Norton to be the best. Yeah, in every forum you can read posts where somebody says Norton antivirus lets the bad ones through, and XYZ firewall does a better job. But I'm talking about objective tests run by reputable magazines, web sites, and such. (I don't blame anybody for being mad at Norton, I am too. But that doesn't make me want to replace Norton antivirus with a product that catches only 75% of the bugs that come at me.)

So, with that said, I'd like to find replacements for Norton Internet Security, which includes anti-virus. Can anyone refer me to published, objective testing that shows some other product does as good a job?

I was a rabid Norton fan for more years than I care to remember.

Then I saw the light three years ago, and got Eset's Nod32 and I have been converted to a non bloatware anti virus application. They also have 64 bit versions as well...
