logitech cam

hiya , im having a issue with my webcam.
it wont work!
it was working perfectly up until yesterday, and now everytime i try and use it , it says "webcam in use in another application"
it blatantly isnt.

ive uninstalled and reinstalled.
updated
unplugged and plugged

and its still saying this.

oh and, i went into my xp hardrive, and it worked fine in there.
its just in vista im having this problem,

anu help would be great!

Hi missyvenom - Welcome to PCHF!

Sorry for the delay in getting to your post. The reason it was overlooked is because you replied to your own post and therefore none of the staff here saw it when we checked unanswered.

Have you tried doing a system restore to before you had this problem? If not, try that to see if it resolves your problem.

Did you install any software, drivers or updates just before you started getting this problem?
