Hi all,

my problem:- A while when there was talk of MSN Hotmail not getting support from Outlook Express i installed Windows Live Mail, but I still use Outlook Express as it does still recieve Hotmail (at the moment)

So the problem is whenever i open an Email which is ATTATCHED to an Outlook Express Email it opens up Windows Live Mail, this would be OK, but it does take one helluva long time to start up Windows Live Mail !!!.

So i managed to change .EML's to open in Outlook Express, using Tools/Folder Options/File Types in Windows Explorer !

Trouble IS NOW, nothing happens at all !!!! not a bloomin sausage!!, when i open up an Email Attatchment, which contains another email NOTHING HAPPENS !!!

Hey Timmy,

- Go to Explorer
- Click on Tools, Folder Options, followed by the File Types tab.
- Scroll down and select "EML" followed by the Advanced button.
- Under "Actions" there should be an item called "open". Click on it followed by Edit.
- Application to perform this action should be: "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /eml:%1
- Enable use DDE, and under application, type in msimn
- Under Topic, type in System
- Finally click, OK, OK and... your guessed it, OK.

And that should sort you out!!
