Is anyone else having problems with running Joost?
I've downloaded it many times in the hope it will run but it won't. I've read on various sites that it could be a firewall/Virus Scanner etc. problem but I've turned off security stuff and it still won't run.
Any ideas one how to get Joost to run?

I'm using Windows XP - Service Pack 3
It would not run with service pack 2 so I know that service pack 3 isn't the problem. |

Try running Joost via the Run As Administrator option from the right click context menu.
Also, recommend you read ... Joost - Release notes for Windows and Joost - System requirements for Windows.

Proxy Server...click on Tools > Internet Options
Click on Connections tab Click on LAN settings button Is the Proxy server box checked? If so, uncheck it.

My internet connection has always been set on LAN, I have checked again and all settings are fine.
I'm beginning to think that Joost is a heap of junk. I used it in an earlier version and I'm sure it was fine then. I know it's still in beta so perhaps I'll wait until it's all working properly
