For many years I have successfully used a Cheyenne bitware fax program which came free with my first computer. In the past year I have gone on to broadband and I cannot get the program to work. Is there anything I can do to overcome this? Alternatively does anyone please know of a good free fax program that I can download?

To use Cheyenne bitware you will need a 56k fax modem. If you didn't get rid of your old modem you could plug it into a phone socket (with an adsl filter) and still use Cheyenne to fax. Otherwise you buy an internal 56k modem and use that to send faxes with Cheyenne.
