Default Installing paid OL2007 over MSOF 2007 trial

My company gave us Treo 700wxs and I am running WInVIsta so had to get Outlook..the Sprint tech that set my phone up had me down load a trial version of MS Office 2007 that had OL included...I have a smaller version of Office so do not need the full version only the OL part...The full version to convert is $499.00...I have a new copy of Oullook 2007 for $90.00...
I do not want to lose all of my data that is in the trial version of OL..What hapens if I install the paid OL over the trial Office ??? Or do I have to wait until the trial version goes away....then I will loose my data...I just do not want to crash or jam up my computer...
I am real novice....am on a Vista hp laptop...
Any help will be appreciated...

I haven't done this myself so I would apply the computing rule of trial.

Backup your existing OL2007 data: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...030811033.aspx - upgrade the software to the full version and test...or backup the software, uninstall the trial, install the complete version and restore your backed up data.
