Default Jpeg to dvd?

Hi, Im looking for something that can simply just put a jpeg advertisement that I have made onto a dvd so that I can have it on a dvd player connected to a projector and left on the big screen perminantely. I have tried just burning it on its own and it just appears for a few seconds then stops..as though its a dvd video. Can anyone help?

Thanks

If it plays for a few seconds and is a static image, could you not just 'pause' it?

I could but the problem is it doesnt show it as full size plus my dvd player when paused has a big "paused" header writen along the top. As an advertisement image it makes it look a little ****. There has to be a way of just viewing an image on a cd or dvd via dvd player without it coming out as a video or slideshow.

Thanks for response

I've never had to use just a jpeg image, but I'm wondering about the repeat function when you create a dvd - or in your case, perhaps a vcd or svcd would be better on a normal cd disc?

Basically, when you create a dvd, there is often an option to automatically restart the dvd from the beginning without having to touch anything.

I'll have a play later and let you know.

I'm sure someone else must have ideas too.
