Anyone know of a free software that will work with XP and Vista that will convert OGG/OGM and AVI files.

So they can be played on Windows Media Player 11.

A friend asked me to see if any of you knew of a free download for this.

wouldnt downloading the proper codecs allow the files to be playing on media player 11? or if not just download VLC or Klite and play the files on that.

Well you could get a few separate pieces of software from download.com. I found an OGG to MP3 one there so you should find others.
Heres a OGG to MP3. Here
Hmm i can play AVI video. Maby codecs would help too.

Yes downloading the correct codecs would enable this.However some have to be paid for.
