Recently I installed WinZip 11.2. In previous versions that I had loaded, after I had download something and saved to my "downloads" file, the name of the file would appear at the bottom of the download. If i wanted to rename the file I could do that as well. However now after my download, there is no name at the bottom and i can't even give it a name or rename it. Is there something in the program that will allow me to do this. I am a relative beginner when it comes to doing these things, so any help would be possible.

I'm not sure about WinZip and it's features, but you may want to look into downloading WinRar rather than WinZip. I use WinRar and it has a lot more functionality than WinZip and you can use it with more types of files the WinZip.

Give it a try if you like, you may be surprised.

Thanks, Scott, have tried WinRar in the past but find WinZip is the programme i prefer to use. Had some problems quite a while ago with WinRar and that's why i switched to WinZip and everything was going just fine until i installed newer version. Everything downloads fine, it's just that there is no name on the file and i can't seem to figure out how to put a name on it.
