Hi All

I have a problem where sometimes when double click the shortcut on my desktop for Internet Explorer 7 the application doesn't open but if I check the Windows Task Manager there is I Iexplorer process running. If I end this then IE7 opens fine.

This seems to happen randomly, sometimes after I have already used IE7 and others when I first log on to the PC.

Has anybody got any ideas what is causing this? Although it is not a huge problem it is annoying.

The Laptop is free from Virus's, malware, spyware etc as far as the software I have are concerned. I am running XP PRo and cannot see anything in the Event Viewer that could help

Suggest you download and install this program (it's free) CCleaner ... Alternative Download.
1. After installing...run the program...click on Analyzer...then click on Run Cleaner.
2. On the left side of the window, click on Registry...click on Scan for issues...click on Fix selected issues.

This program will cleanup your temp files and cookies which could be interfering with your IE program.
