I was wondering if Super Converter was safe and good to use. Is there a better one? That is free.

File-format conversion... I think.
What exact program ?
there's one for video, one for audio files.

Oh sorry. I meant the super converter. Google -> Super converter. First link. The "Super ©". I want to convert my Red Vs Blue Halo episodes from Windows Media Player to something that can be put onto my IPOD nano. Like quicktime. So like from the original format, Windows Media Player, to like quicktime. Red Vs Blue is video. I have like 50 episodes to convert. So what I'm asking is what is the best converter to use to convert my videos. My friend said Super Converter is the best.

Oh, have not tried this one... yet!

I have tried many many video converters. The best one I've found so far is AVS Video converter:
AVS Video Converter - a universal AVI to MPEG Converter, AVI to DVD Converter.

It does unfortunately come with a small price tag, but it is well worth it IMHO. It is the only one that I've found that no matter what video format, size, compression and frame rate you convert it to, it always manages to keep the audio and video in sync. There are so many video format options available with this tool, and it even comes with it's own mini video editor. Look out for the bundle option to this tool, which turns out to be cheaper (for some strange reason) to the converter alone.

I have several friends that use: Free FLV AVI IPHONE IPOD DIVX Video Converter Cocoon software.com- - Welcome to Cocoon Software - Quick Media Converter . I'm not in the habit of using such software, so I can't tell you a thing about it. I've listened to the intro blurb but that's it. As always, enter at your own risk because I won't vouch for it's lack of spyware any more than I can for any other site. My friends say it's safe, and it will perform just about any sort of conversion.
