Default Help please, big problem.

Ok for some reason i cant click in ANY text entry boxes in internet explorer, the little flashing | wont appear.

Also worse is that system restore is the same, i cant create a new point as the name entry box has the same problem as internet explorer. AND WHATS WORSE! I cant click any previous date as its all white.

Its just these 2 programms and i think its because i installed that stupid ******* internet explorer 8 beta.

It certainly could be related to the Beta-- I assume you uninstalled IE8 ?
Rolling back a browser-- especially IE ( because it is part of Windows itself)-- is never fun.
Right now you are unhappy-- but you really should report the issue to the development team --later on --so they know. Bug reports are important to everyone.

I'll see what I can find on the problem.

I would try this site-- Sandi Hardmeier...is a Microsoft MVP and an IE specialist.
She was one of the first to have any info about IE 7 online.

Known issues - Internet Explorer 7

Welllll.... yes and no...
Beta's are risky--that's why they are Beta's-- they know they don't have all the bugs worked out yet-- and they won't if people don't risk it + report the bugs. It is impossible to develop software without trial and error. Especially since M$ is going in a "new direction" with IE 7 +8-- more security built-in... which they did not do in the past.
When you install any beta-- there is some risk-- they tell you so when you download it. Some work great right away-- some have problems.
This is true for open-source software as well.
