Default system32

in my system32 folder in windows explorer i have noticed that there alot of files high-lighted in blue, including a folder called DRVSTORE also high-lighted in blue. Does this mean that important files are missing? because i have noticed my PC has not run so well lately. is it just worth wiping the whole system and reinstating everything, or is there another way?

i may have accidentally deleted some of the files when i used some virus program or something like that, not knowing what i was doing... ooops!
is there a way of finding out what may be missing and how i can fix it?

thanks
