Poor uninstalls are a common problem-- if it comes down to using regedit-- take your time/be careful/be sure of what you're deleting.

Many make a big deal out of editing the registry--it is the only way sometimes to get rid if the left-over bits, and is perfectly safe if you go slow.

Glad you got it fixed.
