Default Soft ware will not load

I am new to chats and forums so excuse my errows. I purchased a copy of Taz Cut soft ware and it would not load on my dell 2350. I exchanged the disk thing a bad disk. No change with the new disk. I call H& R block and they tryed to help no sucess. They had me purchase and down load a nother copy of the soft ware and still will not load. When I select the dowload button I get the message that install wizard is installing. After a few seconds I get the errow message that the install wizard file could not be found. It asks if I am in safe mode or the wizard was not installed. Have installed tax soft ware on this computer for 4 years with no problem. Should I give up and get a tax man ?
Thanks for any help you can give me and remember I am not very savy on computer stuff

Welcome to PCHF Johsan,

install and run Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. this might help you install you new program. when you run this program it will give you a list of perviously installed software. look for any tax software. it might help you.
