First of all, I have a 'sansa e250r'. After attempting a manual firmware update, the player now stops at the 'Sansa Rhapsody' screen during boot and will not proceed. The player does not always appear in 'My Computer'. Have booted into recovery mode and reformatted with the 'sansa.fmt' file, as well as copied a 'pp5022.mi4' downloaded from the official sansa site onto the recovery drive. Still no change. Someone told me that this forum is a good website for quick, smart help - so here I am. Thanks in advance.

I can't edit posts yet, so PS: The player NEVER shows up in my computer, except for the 16mb drive when I boot it into recovery mode.
I have tried more sansa-specific forums, but they just seem to dispense form answers.

I figured it out = I just emailed Sansa technical support and they have good step-by-step help.
