Default [Information] Process Scanner

I am forever searching for programs to help me maintain my computer. One area that often gives me trouble is the processes that are alway running and we have no idea what they go to. I came across a site called ProcessLibrary.com. This site offers two free downloads. One is a Process Scanner simply called ProcessScanner. This is a small stand alone program that scans your computer then checks their library of mal processes to see if you have a problem. It looks easy to use and understand.

ProcessScanner from ProcessLibrary.com

The othe download is called ProcessQuickLink. This small program adds access to the library directly from Task Manager.

I'm going to continue testing to see how well it works. The site itself may be of interest to the PCHF Security Staff. They claim a free and comprehensive online Process Library resource. And no one likes free Like I do...

I find the ProcessQuickLink app a little bit invasive for my taste Upgrader. Though it does make things a bit more handy. I seem to have forgotten to tell everyone that these apps are for Windows 2000/XP. For those who still have Windows 9x then you will still find the Process Library useful.

ProcessLibrary.com - The online resource for process information!!
