I would like to print out an A3-sized .ai file into a A4 blank paper. Would it be possible to print it out without colour if my .ai file contains images (.eps) that are coloured - in monochrome. Hope some one can enlighten me on this issue thanks!

There should be setting for your printer that allows to print everything in B&W. If you cannot find the setting, please let me know what Operating System you are using and the make and model of your printer.
