hi there.i want to increase the sound of my laptop speakers as they are too faint when on the loudest.i have tried through windows xp yet it has reached its maximum.so i am asking if anyone knows a software that can increase the sound of the speaker, something like a booster?if anyone knows the software please specify it below.i do not mind if its costly yet would prefer one that is cheap or even free.thank u all.mhd

The only way I know of is to add some amplified speakers-- the ones built-in are very weak-signal types.

hi billy.thanx for ur suggestion yet i am looking for some software program.i have looked at the link.i will keep it in mind yet at the moment i am focusing on software.i dont wish to carry speakers with me all the time on trains and planes.they are a hassle.mhd

Silly question (maybe) but did you double-click on the speaker icon, near the clock, bottom right and check that ALL your levels are up?

..then a hardware solution is really your only answer. The integrated laptop speakers are tested to give an optimum, finite output and pushing them beyond that, artificially will cause you problems.
