In whatever mode the program runs, there is always it's file on your disk and there's always a way to remove it. First you have to find it in your processes and terminate it, and then you get to it's startup roots, to prevent it from starting up ever again. I never use any antivirus and delete every virus i get manually and never had any problems with any of them, but you got to know your computer quite good, so you know what's normal and what's not
I can't tell you how to delete your specific application cause you have to check in a few places, but it sure is run by a file that IS on your computer, and in one of the startup folders/registry/windows files.
