i finally re-found Cx4Adams solution for removing YAHOOS nag upgrade? pop up ad .
worked good, but left with 2 issues:
1. now get a note"problem starting the process for newer version lookup"
2. get the same large pop up , every other mmjb startup, saying "cannot display web
page"
AND, is there a way to disable MMJB from trying to obtain updates?
I ONLY use MMJB 10 PLUS to play 4 very lengthy libraries of my own music in order to practice my bass guitar. I don't,won't go out of the house for music, nor EVER
use another player, or upgrade, for my practice. this one's perfect.
any help to finish cleaning up a GREAT USABLE program will be appreciated.

What do you mean by that? Also what is MMJB?

i had the Yahoo upgrade ad popping up on my MMJB (musicmatch jukebox 10 plus) .
i found a fix published by Cx4Adam on a website and used it. it worked.
i inadvertently left jukebox go out and look for an update while i was uninstalling/reinstalling a firewall,
and Yahoo got me again with the upsell ads re-imbedded in my MMJB.
i re-located Adams fix,(still dont know where, shoulda saved it) but it worked again.
still trying to clean up the 3 items in my post. i think adam fixed his but i can't find him.
