When it comes to this kinda thing i literaly dont have a clue so just asking the questiong
is i possible in anyway to hook up a tv or sky box to the pc so i can record whats playing on the tv straight onto my hardrive?
my dad is always Missing Match Of The Day and i don realy wanna buy a sky+ box and have him over my home every sunday watching it well i dont mind but the missus would lol
so was just wondering is it possibe in anyway?

Yes it is possible, but you do need either a TV card, or video editing card. Hauppauge is a good make of TV card, for example: Insight UK - Hauppauge WinTV USB - TV tuner / video input ada...
