When I am in Device Manager and right click a specific item, go to properties and then click on "Troubleshoot..." on the General tab, I get the following message:
"An ActiveX control on this page is not safe. Your current security settings prohibit running unsafe controls on this page. As a result this page may not display as intended."
I have been unable to find the specific ActiveX setting which is causing this problem, I communicated with an "expert" on a troubleshooting web page who said his ActiveX settings were the same as mine but he didn't have the problem. My ActiveX settings are:
1. Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt (disabled) 2. Allow Scriptlets (disabled)
3. Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls (disabled)
4. Binary and script behaviors (enabled)
5. Display video and animation on a web page that does not use external media player (disabled)
6. Download signed ActiveX controls (prompt)
7. Download unsigned ActiveX controls (disabled)
8. Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting (disabled)
9. Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins (enabled)
10. Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting (enabled)
Can anyone help with this problem?
