I am trying to play a 720p hd .mkv video file with meda player classic but there is no picture, only audio. My pc is connected to my hdtv using a vga cabe and the screen resolution is set to 720p, I have a nvidia 7300gs graphics card.
How can I get 720p and 1080p video files to play? Do I need certain codecs? If so what ones and where can I get them?
