I have a program called 'speed video splitter' and when I convert any video to any format and cancel the operation at any point fopr whatever reason, thenafter any video player (quicktime, realplay, wmp) pops up then dissapears and explorer says it has crashed and needs to 'close' and it annoyingly restarts explorer when trying to play only an avi file (not mpgs and wmvs etc). I have a k-lite mega codec pack and divx. The problem does not resolve on restart and I can only run avi videos when i do a system restore. Its probably a codec issue but I would like to know a better fix then a system restore.
