With regards to the following video codec, i have some reservations to it's usage. Eariler on i have tried to play it with WMP v11.0 , which unsuspectedly hangs my terminal with WIN XP SP 2 as its OS. after foraging through the internet for solutions, i have found out that i should roll back. To use a older release whereby known issues are not found. May i know how do i overcome this issue to allow me to play newer video encodes? As playing new .MKV files requires me to have a newer release of the ffdshow codec, contradictory to the above the codec hangs my computer. I am at my end's wit would someone care to enlighten me thanks!
