Default [Resolved]How can I uninstall WMP 11 and go back to 10?

Ok... I have Windows Media Player 11 on my computer and I want to go back to WMP 10. Only it's not as easy as it seems because there is no previous version of WMP on my PC, so I can't remove it from the 'Add or Remove Programs' menu, even when I make it show the updates.

This tutorial doesn't help at all

Also, I tried downloading WMP 10 and installing it and it gave me this error (I have Windows XP Pro)

How can I get rid of WMP 11?

Hi there, download CCleaner from CCleaner - Home. and install it. Then click on the Tools tab, find the entry and click Run Un installer.

If that doesnt work boot into Safe Mode, by restarting your PC and tapping F8 untill you see an Advanced Options for Windows menu, highlight and select Safe Mode from the menu by using the arrow keys on your keyboard and press enter. Once at the Welcome Screen, log onto the Administrator account and try un installing it.

thanks, but there is no record from any other version of WMP... therefore, it doesn't show up anywhere in order to uninstall it...
