[Resolved] Running Ubuntu Linux in Vista using Parallels
Do any of you guys know anything about setting up Virtual machines? I've managed to use Parallels to get Ubuntu working in Vista, but I can't get the Ubuntu VM to access the internet, except intermittently.
Any ideas?

OK, it looks like I solved it myself - with some help from elsewhere.
I tried VMWare and that didn't do the networking properly either, so I asked for help on the Ubuntu forums. A guy on there recommended using VirtualBox, which is free, open source virtualisation software optimised for running Linux OSs.
I downloaded it and installed it, and networking worked in Ubuntu straight out of the box!
